A little about us
Our community guidelines outline the standards that we expect from each other on Thorn Tree. If you can keep it legal, clean, relevant and respectful, you’ll be just fine.
Our moderators keep things friendly, tidy and on-topic. So if you spot something that you don’t think is okay or if see someone being rude; please report this by clicking on the flag icon and someone will step in to sort things out. No need for you to get your hands dirty.
You’ll find a lot of tips to help you get started in the ‘help’ section of Thorn Tree.
A little about you
Taking some time to fill out your profile page will help you get better answers from our community. We'd like to get to know you. Your favourite places. Your interests. Having that information will help our community to give you better suggestions and (hopefully) save you some time.
The Thorn Tree forums have been around since 1996. A lot of the same questions get asked over and over again. You can save yourself a lot of time (and possibly some embarrassment) by searching to see if your question has been asked before.
The FAQ topics for each of the country forums cover most of the basic information about most places (the best way to get around a destination once you get there, airport transfers, festivals worth seeing, suggestions for things to do, tips to get you off the beaten track).
We hope you enjoy your time on Thorn Tree, we’re glad you’ve joined us and look forward to hearing your tips and advice too.
