We have two modes of transfer, Speedboat and Seaplane as per the below information. By default, we have booked Speedboat transfer. Please do let us know the preferred mode of transfers. 

  

Upon your arrival at Male International Airport, directly from the international flight or from the overnight Hotel, please proceed directly to Universal Resorts Counter #A5, located right opposite to the arrival hall, where our Airport Representatives will be welcoming and assisting you further.  

  

Speedboat Transfer: Combined round trip schedule (Male Airport – Kuramathi – Male Airport)  

 

Speedboat transfers from / to Kuramathi are combined transfers and takes approximately 75 to 90 minutes. There are three transfers available daily as per below timings and guests may have to wait at the airport upon arrival to take the next available transfer. 

 

Adult: US$ 120.00++ per person, round-trip 

Child: US$ 60.00++ per child, round-trip (up to 11.99 years old) 

 The above rates are subject to 10% service charge and 16% GST 

  

AIRPORT to Kuramathi: ( ARRIVALS ) 

·         Departure from Male Airport at 10:30 for flights that arrive into Male Airport between 06:00 and 10:00hrs 

·         Departure from Male Airport at 14:00 for flights that arrive into Male Airport between 10:00 and 13:30hrs  

·         Departure from Male Airport at 16:30 for flights that arrive into Male Airport between 13:30 and 15:30hrs 

 

We can only accommodate International flights that depart after 09:00hrs (9am) and guests departing on an international flight before 9am should leave the resort the day before the international flight departure date. Arrivals after 15:30hrs (3:30pm) must book their own accommodation for arrival night and we arrange transfer to Kuramathi the following day. 

 

KURAMATHI to Airport ( DEPARTURES ) 

·         Departure from Kuramathi at 06:00 for flights departing Male between 09:00 and 12:30hrs 

·         Departure from Kuramathi at 09:00 for flights departing Male between 12:30 and 17:30hrs  

·         Departure from Kuramathi at 14:30 for flights departing Male after 17:30hrs 

  

Seaplane Transfers: Seaplane transfers from Male’ International airport to Kuramathi is usually scheduled between 06:00 hrs to 15:30 hrs.  There are no evening or night transfers to Kuramathi.  For arrivals in the evening / night, it is recommended to book an overnight stay at a hotel in Male’ before joining the first available transfers for the next day.  Duration of the transfers by seaplane is 25 minutes. 

 

Adult: US$ 325.00+ per person, round-trip 

Child: US$ 220.00+ per child, round-trip (up to 11.99 years old) 

The above rates are subject to 16% GST 

  

Infants (below 2 years old) are on complimentary basis and will only be sitting on the lap of the parent (no seat to be provided and no baggage allowance entitlement).           

  

Please note that we can only accommodate International flights that depart after 09:00hrs (9am) and guests departing on an international flight before 9am should leave the resort the day before the international flight departure date.

 

Please note that the credit card details shared at the time of booking is only to hold your reservation with us. However, the same is not used to collect the payment for the reservation. Attached proforma invoice indicates the room rate together with all the applicable taxes and transfers charges as specified on our website. Also, please note that this reservation is subject to your adherence to our payment terms. 

 

Preferred Payment Method: Online Payment Gateway.  

  

Your booking will be secured after we receive payment for the total reservation amount as an advance payment no later than 48hrs of receiving the Proforma Invoice. If we do not receive advance payment within stipulated time your booking will be automatically released.

Please note the Credit Card used to make the payment through Online Payment Gateway should be shown to our front desk at the time of your check-in for verification purpose. Failure to do so, the resort reserves the right to collect the whole amount from the guest

 

Please check with your bank if your cards are 3D secured. Our Payment Gateway is 3D secured and will reject attempts with non-3D cards. Transactions can only be processed with 3D enabled cards which will prompt cardholders to authenticate themselves with an OPT.

 

Payment: Kuramathi Payment Gateway by Credit cards include Visa, Master, Maestro and American Express. 

  

Reservations & Cancellations Policies: 

 

Check-in is at 14:00hrs (2pm) and check-out is at 12:00hrs (12pm). Early check-in is subject to availability Late check-out is chargeable and subject to availability at the reception.  

  

·         Cancellation within 14 days prior to arrival and no show will be charged 100% of the total room nights booked.  

·         Cancellation within 30 days from the period 24 Dec to 5 Jan and no shows will be charged 100% of the total room nights booked. 

·         No Shows: 100% Cancellation Fees. Guests are therefore recommended to purchase travel insurance covering refunds of cancellation deposits. 

·         Non-commissionable: Kindly note that these rates are net and non-commissionable basis.

Meal Plan Details 

Kuramathi Maldives offers a culinary journey of epic proportions with 12 restaurants and 7bars, including 3 buffets and 9 à la carte restaurants of diverse origins, all primed for a taste of tropical indulgence. Choose from an array of meal plans crafted to fulfil your needs. 

Full Board 

• Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be served in one of our buffet restaurants, Haruge, Malaafaiy or Farivalhu restaurant. A restaurant is allocated to you based on your villa category. Please note that beverages, a la carte restaurants and private dining experiences are not included in the Full Board package. Consumption of any item that are not included in the Full Board package will be charged to your villa account.
• For guest with a Full Board meal plan, in main buffet restaurant during breakfast juice, water, coffee, and tea are available at the buffet service area for all our guests. During lunch and dinner only coffee and tea (regular only) are available in the main buffet restaurant.
• 20% discount from selected à la carte restaurants during dinner service when reservations are made 24 hours in advance. 

 

Basic All Inclusive - minimum 3 nights stay required

• US$65 per person per night, US$33 per child per night, subject to 10% service charge and 16% GST

• Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at Haruge, Malaafaiy, or Farivalhu restaurant. A restaurant is allocated to the guests depending on villa category booked (nearest to the villa). 
• A 20% discount from selected à la carte restaurants during dinner service when reservations are made 24 hours in advance. 
• All soft drinks, canned juices, imported liquors (except premium brands), over 50 alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, 3 different house wines, house bottled water and draught beer in all restaurants and bars (menu featured). 
• Soft drinks and house bottled water from in room minibar. 
• High Tea served 15:00 to 17:00 hrs daily at the Island Coffee Shop or Inguru restaurant. An assortment of snacks and local delicacies with tea and coffee are available. 
• Use of snorkeling gear (snorkel, mask, and fins) for the whole stay. 
• Use of windsurfing equipment for 1 hour per day (excluding safety check and tuition fees). 
• Excursion: 1 Visit to Rasdhoo, neighboring local island, per person per stay. 

 

Select All Inclusive - minimum 4 nights stay required

• US$120 per person per night, US$60 per child per night, subject to 10% service charge and 16% GST.

• Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at Haruge, Malaafaiy, or Farivalhu restaurant. A restaurant is allocated based on villa category, though guests are welcome to dine in other restaurants within their opening hours for your meals. Prior reservations are required when dining in any restaurant other than the allocated buffet restaurant. 
• Access to 9 à la carte restaurants within their opening hours. Prior reservations are required for dinner service. Premium Dishes indicated on the menu and Private Dining Experiences are not included. 
• A selection of bottled wines (available at restaurants with meals only). 
• All soft drinks, canned juices, imported liquors (except premium brands), over 50 alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, 3 different house wines, house bottled water and draught beer in all restaurants and bars (menu featured). 
• Soft drinks and house bottled water from in room minibar. 
• High Tea served 15:00 to 17:00 hrs daily at the Island Coffee Shop or Inguru restaurant. An assortment of snacks and local delicacies with tea and coffee are available.

Do remember:

• Meals on the Select All Inclusive include 1 starter, 1 main course and 1 dessert per person. Some of our à la carte restaurants do have a minimum age policy and accepts guests above 6 years of age only. Anything extra not included in the package will be charged to your account. As this is a Muslim country, by law we are required to control the alcohol served within the resort carefully. As such we ask you to check your bills thoroughly and sign for what you have consumed only. Any discrepancy in the bill should be brought to the attention of your waiter or outlet supervisor. It is not allowed to offer or invite non-all-inclusive guests for all-inclusive drinks/services. Should you wish to invite another guest for drinks, or any other item included in your all-inclusive package, you must purchase them at the standard rate. 
• Check-out time is 12:00hrs noon. The All Inclusive entitlements will end on your day of departure at 12:00hrs noon. For guests departing in the afternoon, if you had your lunch on your arrival day, the lunch on your departure day is not included. 

 

Other Terms & Conditions: 

  

Only one meal plan can be applied per reservation. A minimum of 5 nights is required for all stays from 28 Dec to 05 Jan. A Christmas supplement of US$150 and US$100 applies for adult and child respectively, on the night of 24 Dec. A New Year supplement of US$200 and US$135 applies for adult and child respectively, on the night of 31 Dec. All supplements are subject to 10% service charge and 16% GST. 

 

We accepts US Dollars, Euros & Sterling Pound in cash and major credit cards, which includes Visa, Master, Maestro and American Express.

In order to minimize any wait time on your arrival, we would like to reiterate some of the new Maldives Immigration Procedure on issuing Tourist Visa on arrival and departure. 

 

On arrival, aside from the necessary documents such as Passport and Hotel Reservation/Voucher, a Traveler Health Declaration Form (THD) must be filled. 

 

This THD form is available electronically on this link http://imuga.immigration.gov.mv . The form must be filled out and submitted by all travelers travelling to and from Maldives, within 96 hours prior to their travel. to have a smooth process of acquiring a Tourist Visa at the Maldives immigration desk. 

  

On departure, to avoid delays, the same form http://imuga.immigration.gov.mv must be filled out within 96 hours prior to guests’ departure. It is only on completion of this from that guest can enter the airport check-in area.
