Thank you for your recent support as a member of NCT.  


We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together but we know we can be bolder and do more. That’s why we’re asking you to support us once again.

You kindly set up a Direct Debit at the start of your membership. We wanted to remind you that this method means that your membership donation will be automatically collected (please see a copy of the relevant guarantee at the end of this email) and your membership will continue unless you advise otherwise. You do not need to take any action. We will be in touch once your new membership period begins to confirm that your membership is continuing and provide an updated membership card.

If you no longer wish to be a member of NCT, please email members@nct.org.uk stating your name and membership number (4008246) in the subject line. We also recommend that you cancel your Direct Debit directly with your bank or building society.

The Direct Debit Guarantee

  • The Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits

  • If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit, the NATIONAL CHILD BIRTH TRUST will notify you 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed. If you request the NATIONAL CHILD BIRTH TRUST to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of the request

  • If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by the NATIONAL CHILD BIRTH TRUST or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society

    • If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when the NATIONAL CHILD BIRTH TRUST asks you to

  • You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required. Please also notify the NATIONAL CHILD BIRTH TRUST.
